PeaceJam Comes to Denver!

The largest assembly of Nobel peace laureates ever on U.S. soil gathered in Colorado for a three day rally for social change and peace.  PEACE JAM kicked off at the University of Denver on September 15 where over 3,000 students
gleaned inspiration and education from ten Nobel Peace prize winners.  Among those laureates present were The Dalai Lama and Archbishop Desmond Tutu of South Africa.

Students broke out into small groups and over 200 were present to view the documentary film, ONE STORY: Isaac Khor Bher” featuring Sudanese refugee Isaac Khor Bher recounting his personal story.  Isaac is co-founder of Project Education Sudan, a Denver based non profit organization striving to to build, staff, train and supply primary and secondary schools throughout Southern Sudan.
